How to Partner with It's All About Kids

It’s All About Kids (IAK) is proud to announce we are able to partner with any elementary school in Tulsa County!  In an effort to adequately meet the needs of our partnering schools and provide data to the Oklahoma State Department of Health we have developed a process.  IAK now requires Tulsa County elementary schools interested in partnering with us to complete an IAK School Readiness Assessment along with having a district Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).  The assessment allows us to gain an understanding of your school's climate and tailor our services accordingly.  The IAK Assessment for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted from April 1, 2018 - September 1, 2018.  Assessments received after the September 1, 2017 deadline will not be accepted.

To begin completing the IAK School Readiness Assessment, please select the orange button at the bottom of the page.  We recommend completing the assessment with the following school personnel: principal, assistant principal, grade level team leads, PE teacher, nurse/health assistant, counselor, and community coordinator/parent liaison.  Please have all appropriate information gathered before beginning the assessment.  Once the assessment is started you cannot exit without losing the entered information and having to start over.  A PDF version of the assessment can be accessed by selecting the green button at the bottom of the page.  We have updated the assessment to more comprehensively align with the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) Model.  You will be asked to select your top 3 WSCC component areas and only complete the assessment pertaining to the components chosen.  Please review IAK's Topics WSCC Breakdown list to be sure you select the appropriate component areas for your school.  The information needed to complete the assessment will come from the 2017-2018 school year.  As a reminder the official completed assessment for your school must be submitted electronically through the link by selecting the orange button.  If you are unable to answer a question simply put N/A.

Once your assessment has been submitted the Health Educator assigned to your district will contact you to schedule a planning meeting for the 2018-2019 school year.  We prefer to schedule all planning meetings between April 1, 2018 and September 1, 2018 in an effort to be prepared and ready when the school year begins.  If you have any further questions regarding the assessment, please contact Charley Daniel at 918-595-4084.
